Multidimensional Waveform Encoding for Space-borne SAR in Azimuth
Abstract
High resolution wide swath is one of the most important missions for future spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR). In this paper, a new multidimensional waveform encoding method which combined the multi-beams with multi-phase centers in azimuth is proposed. This new method can achieve a significant ambiguity deduction capacity for space-borne SAR, which is propitious to execute high resolution wide swath imaging task.
