Medicine Bottle Label Information Acquisition and Processing
Abstract
In order to assist doctors and nurses to accurately check the information and avoid medical accidents during the process of dealing with the injection of bottled drugs, a label checking device for bottle labels was designed and tested in this paper. The device was composed of the embedded and image processing technology, and used ARM core board, CCD camera, stepper motor and Ethernet interface to build the hardware system. Image processing algorithms included image classification, tag and background separation, batch number segmentation and so on. In this paper, five kinds of drugs were collected and segmented. The device was realized the flattening of the surface drug image, and extracted and partitioned the drug image information from the background.
