Three Dimensional Numerical Simulation on Oil Leakage from the Double Hull Oil Tanker Damaged on the Side Structure

Abstract

Based on the theory of fluid dynamics, using FLUENT software to build the 3D model tanker, the oil-water interface is tracked by the volume of fluid (VOF), and the leakage process is divided into three phases. Based on the description of the process of leakage, indicating that the fluent software can well simulate the process of double hull oil tanker leak.
