Research on Test Methods of the Sleeve-Type Current Transformer

Abstract

Through the theoretical analysis on the bushing CT and the electromagnetic induction of transformer, a simple and effective mean were found from the operating principle of the current transformer, which was making other sides’ corresponding phase short-circuited, thus canceling out the influence of the tuansformer winding inductance when one side’s one-phase test was operated. This method has been proved by the field practice for many times to be practicable, accurate and reliable.
