Numerical Study on Change of Bottom Topography Data in a Closed Water Area

Abstract


Techniques to investigate change of bottom topography in a closed water area are described. Numerical techniques are illustrated. Governing equations of flow were reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations with the collocation method, and a standard ODE solvers were applied. A governing equation of sediment transport was solved numerically. Numerical results were compared with measurement results.
