Design and Improvement of Spiral Chute Structure for Coal Storage

Abstract


In this paper, using the discrete element EDEM software, according to the coal storage is used to transfer to prevent coal grinding spiral chute in structure design improvement. For uniform period of leakage is a serious phenomenon of spiral chute, and uniform section materials as broken stress mutual collision phenomenon, the structure of spiral chute for design improvement, and use the software to the simulation calculation of material delivery status before and after improvement. Is obtained by the simulation results, after add baffle, significantly lower material leakage phenomenon; Add the buffer tank after the average speed of material is reduced, reduces the collision of the chute outlet material crushing; Uniform section after the improvement, in the case of leakage material is reduced, at the same time reduces the average speed of material, reducing the interactions between the material, achieved the purpose of reducing coal broken, after the conclusion of the structure of the spiral chute design provides a theoretical basis, has a certain guiding significance.
