Analysis and Countermeasure Research on the Vulnerability Mining of Rural E-Commerce Websites in China

Abstract

This paper studies the severe situation of diversified security vulnerabilities in China’s rural e-commerce websites. It used vulnerability scanning software and penetration testing tools widely used at home and abroad to conduct vulnerability mining, testing and verification on 240 China’s rural e-commerce websites. According to the results of statistics and threat level classification method, the assessment of websites’ vulnerability risk was carried out. The overall situation of security vulnerability was analyzed deeply by comparing OWASP Top 10. A less optimistic security situation of China's rural e-commerce website vulnerabilities is showed by the method of data visualization. The strategies for preventing and responding to security vulnerability in China’s rural e-commerce websites are further proposed, and lay a foundation for carrying out the following work of security situation perception and forecast of rural e-commerce websites in China.
