Abstract

Based on the internet perspective, this paper uses the digital inclusive financial index to estimate the impact of poverty incidence in all provinces in China. Using the panel data from 2011-2015 data of 29 provinces in China, we use the fixed-effect analysis method to analyze the effects of digital inclusive finance on poverty reduction. The research shows that the development of digital inclusive finance can significantly reduce the incidence of poverty. Among the control variables, the proportion of agricultural fixed assets investment also has a significant impact on the incidence of poverty. Therefore, our country should clearly define the thought and path of digital inclusive finance, create a digital inclusive financial ecosystem, optimize the financial expenditure structure of supporting agriculture, expand the coverage of rural network infrastructure construction, and play a positive role in alleviating poverty by digital inclusive finance.
