The Synthesized Hubs Measurement of Air-rail Compound Network Based on Centrality
Abstract
To determine the pivot cities and their hierarchies in the air-rail, we applied the complex network theory, the statistical analysis and the hierarchial clustering method, and measured the pivotal nodes of the high-speed railway and civil aviation compound network. The results indicates that centrality indicators not only can explain the nodes’ different characteristics, but also have the notable relativity with actual transportation data; The five pivot cities―Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Changsha―can be as the national synthesized nodal points, and the 13 secondary pivot cities, such as Chengdu, Kunming and Xian, can be as the regional synthesized nodal points.
