An Empirical Analysis of the Interaction Between Science and Technology and Finance in Fujian

Abstract

Science and technology and finance has become the core factor of promoting economic development. This paper selects nine cities in Fujian province 2004-2013 annual expenditure of R&D funds, the amount of patent applications, the full time equivalent of R&D personnel and financial development level of the annual data. We construct the panel vector autoregressive model to analyze the interaction between science and technology and finance in Fujian Province, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures for the integration of science and technology and finance in Fujian Province.
