Research on Promoting the Characteristic Towns in Jiaxing

Abstract

It is an effective way to promote new-type urbanization that the construction of characteristic towns are Speeded up. First of all this article expounds the connotation of the characteristic towns. Secondly the current situation of the characteristic town in Jiaxing is analyzed on the perspectives of construction effectiveness and promotion mode. This article points out deviation in understanding, lack of frontiers in industrial planning and lack of innovation in construction promotion. On the base of these, some policy suggestions about promoting the construction of the characteristic towns in Jiaxing are put forward.
