Research on Legal English Teaching Based on Questionnaire
Abstract
Legal professional English is a new interdisciplinary subject derived from the organic integration of English linguistics and law. By questionnaire survey, this paper investigated and analyzed the purpose, content, form and other issues of legal English learning for the law majors in a university in Shandong province. The investigation results show that the students think it necessary to study English, but what they expect to achieve is still far from what they can actually do. This article suggests that the current legal English teaching should be changed to make it more operational and feasible.
