The Study on Cultivating Critical Thinking in College English Writing

Abstract

Cultivating the critical thinking is of great importance for Chinese college students. As an advanced way of language output, English writing requires high level of critical thinking ability of students. Based on previous studies, the paper proposes the methods of cultivating critical thinking ability by building the complete system of knowledge, cultivating self-evaluation and peer reviewing ability, setting up writing files for students.
