Research on Project-based Experiential Teaching Model: Take Introduction to Public Policy for Example

Abstract


According to the characteristics of contemporary college students in China and the characteristics of students' learning styles in the Internet environment, project-based experiential teaching model is adopted in the teaching of undergraduate courses introduction of public policy. This teaching model can effectively integrate the advantages of project-based teaching and experiential teaching. It can stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and initiative by experiencing learning in real project situations. Through experience or "learning by doing", students can realize the construction of knowledge and its meaning, improve their mental model, and improve their quality and ability. Taking the course of introduction to public policy as an example, this paper introduces the application process and effect of the project-based experiential teaching model, and summarizes the key and difficult in its application.
